Electronic medical records (EMR) provides the clinician with on-line access to a patient's vital signs, medications, allergies, diagnoses, procedures, immunizations and patient notes. This EMR information can be loaded from your practice management system, or other patient information systems on an ongoing basis. In addition, because Health Summary is an interactive EMR application, you can add and update patient clinical information as necessary. Transcription Files allows the user to display transcribed reports, which can be accessed in chronological order by patient record number, patient name, physician, etc. When a transcribed report is ready for review, it is automatically displayed on the EMR Provider Worklist.
